This place is Jurong Birdpark. Situated right at the west edge of Singapore in Jurong, it is one of the finest in the world. Some of the highlights of the park are the daily live shows as seen above, the highest man-made waferfalls, the Lory Loft where thousands of lories fly freely (more pics later)

Botanic Gardens I

Singapore Botanic Gardens is one of the largest gardens in little Singapore. It showcases many plants, trees and flowers (including many rare specimens).

Other highlights of the Garden are : National Orchid Garden with 20,000 displays including the our national flower " The Vanda Miss Joaqium", Swan Lake, Ginger Garden, Evolution Garden, Jacob Ballas Children's Garden etc.

Singapore River I

This is the nightscene of the Singapore river where the history of Singapore begins. It was taken during one of the field trips during our photography class.

The foreground is the Parliament House and right behind is Boat Quay. At the back are many tall buildings that make up the skyline of the City Center.
